Information Services and Technology (IS&T) now offers full support for OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 and higher. Mountain Lion introduces several new features and changes, including new Notes and Reminders applications that sync with Exchange, updated Mail, Contacts, and Calendar applications, and a security feature named Gatekeeper that blocks unsigned software and reduces the risk of installing malware. A full list of new features can be found on Apple's website.

The minimum system requirements to run OS X Mountain Lion are as follows:

  • OS X 10.6.8 or later required to upgrade
Mountain Lion supports the following Mac models:

  • MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer)
