d'Arbeloff Fund seeks proposals for innovative curricular projects

The Alex and Brit d’Arbeloff Fund for Excellence in Education is soliciting preliminary proposals for faculty-led projects to enhance the educational experience of MIT undergraduates, preferably in the General Institute Requirements (GIRs) or during their first year.

In the past two years, grants have ranged from $35,000 to $100,000, with the majority being $40,000 or less. Two- to three-page preliminary proposals are due by Friday, Oct. 15. Those invited to submit a final proposal will be notified in early November; final proposals are due by Wednesday, Dec. 1.
