Mark Behrens, the Cecil and Ida Green Career Development Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics, and Frank Solomon, a professor in the Department of Biology, have been selected to receive the 2010-11 School of Science Prize for Excellence in Graduate Teaching.
Behrens was nominated for his enthusiasm and clarity with which he taught Algebraic Topology II (18.906), while Solomon was nominated for his dedication to mentorship, as well as his outstanding teaching. Both will be presented their awards at a luncheon in their honor later this fall.
