Nominations for MIT's annual Awards Convocation are being accepted now through Friday, March 18. Encompassing more than 30 awards across many areas and departments, the Awards Convocation honors those — including students, faculty and staff — who have made special contributions to the life of the MIT community.
The Awards Convocation is the largest awards ceremony at the Institute and features some of the most prestigious awards given by the Institute. MIT senior officers will present the awards to deserving recipients at the 2011 Awards Convocation, which will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, in 10-250.

To nominate students, faculty, staff, and other MIT community members, follow these easy steps:
- Read the award descriptions online at http://web.mit.edu/awards.
- Write a letter of nomination, describing why the nominee is worthy of the award.
- Submit nominations online at http://web.mit.edu/awards or by mail to W32-135.
