Default quota for MIT's traditional (IMAP) e-mail service will increase to 2GB

Effective Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010, MIT's traditional (IMAP) e-mail service (mail servers po9, po10, po11, po12, and po14) will support a default e-mail quota of two gigabytes (2GB).

This change, from 1GB to 2GB, will be transparent to the MIT community: it will occur in the background and not require any configuration or action by the client community.

If you have questions or comments about the quota increase, send mail to the Computing Help Desk.
