Wednesday, Aug. 27
- Lunch with your advisor and fellow advisees--11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (check orientation packet for location)
- Athletics Gateway--learn about varsity, intramural and club sports. 2:30 to 4 p.m., Rockwell Cage
- Dinner on the Town--venture to a restaurant in Boston or Cambridge. 4 p.m., Kresge Oval
- Residence hall assignments--7 p.m., Athena clusters (via e-mail)
Thursday, Aug. 28
- All About UROP--10 to 11 a.m. Room 54-100
- Queer Women's Picnic Lunch--for all people lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, questioning or just friendly. Noon to 1 p.m., McCormick inner patio
- Women's Hip-Hop and Chocolate--Dance class with chocolate and good company. 2 to 4:30 p.m., McCormick Dance Studio
- Tech Theater--real-life issues concerning sex, relationships, academics and alcohol. 6 p.m., Kresge Auditorium
- Perspective: Minority Students' Life--a panel discussion. 8:30 to 10 p.m., Latino Cultural Center basement
Friday, Aug. 29
- CityDays--community service with your new classmates. 9:15 a.m. to 3 p.m., Kresge Oval
- wo-School Mixer--jazz and dessert for MIT and Wellesley freshmen. 11 p.m. to 1 a.m., La Sala de Puerto Rico, Student Center
Saturday, Aug. 30
- Tours of the Museum of Fine Arts and Fenway Park--10:30 a.m., meet on Student Center steps
- Block Party for the MIT community--food, friends, sports and music. 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Student Center, Zesiger Center, Johnson and Kresge.
