Applications are due by Friday, July 21 for "You Go, Girl!" -- an Edgerton Center program that will focus on science and career development activities for girls in the greater Boston area who will be entering ninth grade this fall.
Each day of the August 7-10 program will begin with a hands-on science activity, ranging from electronics and lasers to LEGO design. In the afternoon, the girls will work on projects focusing on career planning, high school and college preparation and personal development.
The cost for the program is a suggested materials donation of $30. For more information and an application, contact Daniele Lantagne at the Edgerton Center, x3-7931.
