MIT has been named the third highest-ranked private college in the Northeast, according to the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Rankings, reports Gerard Yates for The Wall Street Journal.

MIT was named one of the top ten institutions for economics research in the Higher Education Research and Development Survey released by the National Science Foundation, reports Michael Nietzel for Forbes.

MIT has been named to the number two spot in the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Rankings of the best midsized colleges in the Northeast, reports The Wall Street Journal.

Times Higher Ed reporter Rosa Ellis writes that MIT took second place in the World University Rankings 2022 for arts and humanities. Agustín Rayo, interim dean of SHASS, and Hashim Sarkis, dean of SA+P, write that the humanities, “have an essential research role in problem-solving major civilisational issues” and they also “reliably contribute to well-being and a well-lived life.”

MIT has been named one of the top 20 universities in the world for studying cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin, reports Taylor Locke for CNBC.

MIT was named the top school for positioning graduates to find a job in the QS Graduate Employability Rankings, reports August Saraiva for Bloomberg. “For the third year, MIT landed a perfect score,” writes Saraiva, “retaining its title as the best alma mater to have when looking for a job.”

MIT placed second on U.S. News & World Report’s 2022 annual rankings of the best colleges, reports CBS Boston.

MIT has been ranked the top university in the world for digital entrepreneurship in a new ranking by Times Higher Education and the French consultancy Emerging. Times Higher Education notes that MIT “has a strong reputation for teaching and learning in science and technology courses. As well as undergraduate and postgraduate courses, MIT also offers a range of executive courses in digital business strategy, AI and business analytics.”
