The MIT Deshpande Center for Technological Innovation is pleased to announce its latest call for project proposals. The center's grant program is open to all MIT faculty with principal investigator status and provides significant benefits, beyond just funding, for its recipients.

We are seeking both earlier-stage proof-of-concept research project ideas with broad potential impact, and later-stage innovations that faculty inventors are eager to see commercialized.

MIT Deshpande Center for Technological Innovation Fall 2015 Grants Pre-proposals are due April 3 at 5 p.m.

The center supports leading-edge research in emerging technologies and cultivates interactions between MIT and the entrepreneurial business community. Funds will be granted in a broad range of disciplines, for research done at MIT, with the objective to ultimately license the technology to an outside company or start-up that will commercialize it. Proposals must be submitted by an MIT faculty member with PI status.

For detailed information about the grant program, funded projects, and instructions on submitting a proposal, please visit our website or contact us at 617-253-8987 or deshpandecenter@mit.edu.
