On May 2, Yaniv Mordecai, a PhD candidate at Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and a ballistic missile defense system engineer at Elbit Systems, will present the “Model-Based Risk-Oriented Systems Engineering (MBROSE) Practical Research Workshop.” His academic advisors include Dov Dori and Olivier de Weck.
This workshop aims to introduce and demonstrate to attendees a novel MBROSE framework and modeling approach. This approach enriches core system models with risk modeling, analysis, and management constructs, leading to systems or product designs that are more robust, resilient, and risk-oriented. The workshop will include a theoretical review, case study introduction, discussion, and experimentation with the MBROSE framework using industrial cases and problems, including those suggested by workshop participants. This unique setting will provide an opportunity for collaboration of system analysts and risk analysts from various domains. More details and full agenda are available via MIT's Engineering Systems Division.
