Benefits open enrollment ends Nov. 20

Open enrollment for benefits-eligible employees at MIT will end at 4 p.m. this Friday, Nov. 20. Employees may visit http://web.mit.edu/sapwebss/PS1/benefits_home.shtml to change their benefits. All changes will be effective Jan. 1, 2010. During Open Enrollment, employees can: • Enroll in new benefits or change medical, dental, vision, and supplemental life insurance coverage; • Enroll or re-enroll in a Health Care and/or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account; • Add additional eligible dependents to coverage (up to age 25, unless disabled) or discontinue coverage for current dependents; To download the 2010 Open Enrollment Newsletter for health and dental plan rates for 2010, an updated health care comparison chart, and more, visit http://hrweb.mit.edu/benefits/eligibility/open-enrollment.
