The New England regional finals of the Siemens Competition in Math, Science and Technology, a scholarship and awards program, will be held at MIT on Nov. 3 and 4.
Projects will be exhibited in Room 34-401 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 3. Oral presentations will be Nov. 4 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Room 46-3002.
The winners will advance to the national finals in New York in December, to compete for a top individual scholarship prize of $100,000. Members of the top team will share a $100,000 scholarship.
The Siemens Foundation provides $2 million in college scholarships and awards each year for talented high school students in the United States. Its signature programs, the Siemens Competition in Math, Science and Technology and the Siemens Awards for Advanced Placement, reward exceptional achievement in science, math and technology.
