List Fellowship applications due
The application deadline for List Foundation Fellowships is Monday, Jan. 26. The program awards up to $5,000 to an MIT sophomore or junior (U.S. citizens or permanent residents) for a yearlong project in the performing, literary, visual or media arts to explore personal, racial and cultural identity while working with an artistic mentor. MITSO seeks soloists
The deadline for entry in this year's MIT Symphony Orchestra (MITSO) Concerto Competition is Thursday, April 15. Soloists will be selected from the MIT student body to perform a concerto with the orchestra during the 2004-05 season.
The competition is only for MIT students and current symphony members. Soloists who have already performed with MITSO are not eligible. Arts grants available
The second deadline for 2003-04 Council for the Arts funding is Friday, Jan. 30. All students, faculty and staff may apply. Forms are available at the Office of the Arts in Room E15-205 or online at http://web.mit.edu/arts/council/grants.html.
