Members of the Class of 1999, their guests and alumni/ae are invited to hear seven MIT graduates participate in a seminar on "Biomedical Entrepreneurship" after Commencement on Friday.
The seminar, in Rm 10-250 from 3-5 pm, is sponsored by the MIT Association of Alumni and Alumnae. It kicks off the two-day Technology Day program entitled "The Human Body/Emerging Medical Science and Technology."
The moderator will be Dr. Jerome H. Grossman (SB 1961), chair and CEO of Health Quality Inc. Panelists are Noubar Afeyan (PhD 1987), senior vice president and CBO of Perkin-Elmer Corp.; Dr. Mark Braunstein (SB 1969), chair and CEO of Patient Care Technologies; Thomas Cole (SB 1991), president of Atlantis Components; Jerome Goldstein (SB, SM 1960), president and CEO of Advanced Magnetics Inc.; Seth Taylor (MOT 1997), president and CEO of MolecularWare; and Damion Wicker (SB 1993), general partner of Chase Capital Partners.
