Institute Professor Noam Chomsky, world-famous linguistics expert and social activist, will give a lecture entitled "Foundations of World Order: Fifty Years of the UN, World Bank, IMF and the Declaration of Human Rights" on Monday, Feb. 22 at 7pm in Rm 10-250. The event is sponsored by the Technology and Culture Forum (TCF).
Since the 50th anniversaries of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the charter of the United Nations have just passed, this is a good time to reflect on these pillars of the modern "world order," Professor Chomsky noted.
The talk is free and open to the public.
