Here and There

A NOVA program entitled "Cracking the Ice Age" scheduled to air on PBS on Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 8pm focuses on research by Maureen Raymo, associate professor of marine geology. The piece, which also includes interviews with Professor John M. Edmond and senior research scientist Dr. Peter H. Molnar of the Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences, examines our planet's Ice Age cycles, the greenhouse effect and continental movement over time. The program first aired last December 31.
